Summary
A substantial lynchet was observed about 123m to the north of the Bridport Road, where it was cut through by a new farm track in 1990 It was aligned approximately N-S along the contours of the slope. This lynchet is undated but is probably later prehistoric or Roman in date.

Full Description
A substantial lynchet was observed about 123m to the north of the Bridport Road, where it was cut through by a new farm track in 1990 (1).
This lynchet was aligned approximately N-S along the contours of the slope and survived as a ridge of chalk about 2m wide and 0.45m high. It is undated but is probably later prehistoric or Roman in date (2).
