Summary

The soilmark of a probable late prehistoric enclosure to the north of Dean can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. This small enclosure is reminiscent in shape and size to some of the enclosures listed as Tombstone or 'D' shape in the RCHME Bokerley Dyke survey.

Full Description

The soilmark of a probable late prehistoric enclosure can be seen on aerial photographs taken in 2007. This is centred at c. ST 9771 1640 to the north of Dean. This small enclosure is reminiscent in shape and size to some of the enclosures listed as Tombstone or 'D' shape in the RCHME Bokerley Dyke survey. <1-2>
