A scatter of three extractive pits is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the arable field to the south of The Folly, Durweston. The features are between 10m and 12m across and are considered to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A scatter of three extractive pits is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the arable field to the south of The Folly, Durweston [1]. The features are between 10m and 12m across and are considered to be post medieval chalk pits; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
