Summary
Four subcircular hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery scattered across a field to the west of Normandy Farm, Winterborne Strickland. They are between 20m and 25m across and considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Four subcircular hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery scattered across a field to the west of Normandy Farm, Winterborne Strickland [1]. They are between 20m and 25m across and considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
