Summary
An oval hollow with surrounding doughnut of spoil is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field immediately to the west of Normandy Farm, Winterborne Strickland. The hollow is 15m by 25m in size and considered likely to be a post medieval chalk pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

An oval hollow with surrounding doughnut of spoil is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the field immediately to the west of Normandy Farm, Winterborne Strickland [1].
