Full Description
Part of the medieval and/or post-medieval settlement of Tarrant Launceston is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. The site is centred at ST 9436 0943 and comprises three narrow linear banks which combine to form a T-shape that probably defines the boundary between two Medieval and / or Post Medieval tofts which extended between the road and the river Tarrant. The boundary has subsequently been re-adopted as a property boundary. <1>
