Summary

Ditched linear features on the northwest side of Blandford Camp are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features follow the line of the parish boundary between Tarrant Hinton and Tarrant Launceston and may be part of this medieval boundary line, or a later trackway following its course. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Ditched linear features on the northwest side of Blandford Camp are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1-3]. The features follow the line of the parish boundary between Tarrant Hinton and Tarrant Launceston and may be part of this medieval boundary line, or a later trackway following its course. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
