Summary
A series of parallel bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on the south of the River Stour, Durweston village. They cover an area of 10 hectares and are considered to be the remains of a medieval strip field system with associated ridge and furrow; they were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
