Summary
A series of parallel bank features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Kites Farm, Blandford Forum. The banked features extend for 26 hectares and appear to be the remains of a medieval strip field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation marks. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

A series of parallel bank features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the west of Kites Farm, Blandford Forum [1]. The banked features extend for 26 hectares and appear to be the remains of a medieval strip field system with associated ridge and furrow cultivation marks. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
