Summary
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible to the east of Tarrant Monkton as a ring ditch cropmark on an aerial photograph dated 2015. The feature is recorded as a possible round barrow or later prehistoric roundhouse under NRHE Hob UI 1622766. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A possible later prehistoric round house or Bronze Age round barrow was recorded as cropmarks on 2015 Historic England oblique aerial photographs. It is defined by a ring ditch measuring about 10-15m in diameter. Adjacent pits could be archaeological in origin. It is centred at ST 9563 0868. <1>
