Summary
A World War II machine gun loophole identified in the churchyard wall at Loders. The loophole is constructed of stone, was built in 1940-41 and allowed a field of fire along the village street. A field visit in 2000 found the structure to be well-preserved and in a good condition.

Machine gun loophole in churchyard wall, allowing a field of fire along the village street. Well-preserved loophole in curved wall at entrance to village churchyard, looking down village street. The wall is part of private property. By the church gate. <1>
