Full Description

At UPLODERS there was a chapel, some remains of it are still to be seen. A wake is held on the Sunday after ST PETER'S DAY, being perhaps the saint to which the chapel was dedicated. <1> No further information was obtained upon this chapel during field investigation. The Vicar of LODERS could not be contacted at the time of field investigation and tithe maps were not consulted. <2> The incumbent at LODERS has no knowledge of this chapel, he states that there are no tithe maps in existence for the parish. <3>
