Summary
One of two houses formed from what was originally a row of three cottages. The central cottage, now part of Dorset Cottage, is thought to have been built in the seventeenth or early eighteenth century, possibly around an earlier building, and the two end cottages were built later.

Full Description
ST 93780594. A range of three cottages, one storey with attics, with rendered walls and thatched roofs. The middle dwelling is probably early-18th. century but those on either side are somewhat later. <1>
Merewood Cottage and Dorset Cottage, formerly 3 cottages. 17th c, possibly with earlier core and 18th c additions. <2>
