Summary
A Bronze Age looped and socketed spearhead was found on Crichel Down, some 3.5 feet below the ground. It is in Dorset County Museum, Dorchester. It has, in the past, been wrongly provenanced to Wimborne.

Full Description
(ST 9610) A Bronze Age socketed spearhead 5 1/4 inches long, with loops on the stem, found on Crichel Down 3 1/2 feet below ground level, was presented to the Dorset County Museum, Dorchester (Museum No.1935/54/1), by C.R.Hill, Estate Office, Crichel. <1-2>
This spearhead has been wrongly described as being found in Wimborne (See SU 00 SW 13). <3>
