Summary
A World War Two auxiliary unit operational base recorded in Buzbury Wood, to the east of Blandford Forum. The unit was constructed in 1940-41, had the codename Osterley and comprised an above ground brick and timber hut . A field visit in 2001 found the hut had been demolished, only rubble on a raised earth platform survived.
