Full Description
In Domesday, Levetesford was held of the church of St Mary, Cranborne. There is 1/2 hide and 2 ploughs with 4 villeirs and 1 border, and there are 4 areas of meadow. It is worth 155. <2>
It is mentioned in a perambulation of the Outer Bounds of Cranborne Chase in the Aringe Rolls for Hants, 8 Edward I (1279), from which its location has been derived. <1>
