Full Description

[ST 99881075] There was formerly an ancient cross in GUSSAGE ALL SAINTS. It stood at the cross roads just outside the churchyard. The cross has long since disappeared but the site is still known as "THE CROSS". <1> No information was obtained during field investigation regarding this 'ancient cross'. There are no Md crosses in the churchyard. A 1914-18 war memorial cross stands on the green locally known as THE CROSS. <2>
