Summary
Site of a World War II auxiliary unit operational base recorded to the west of Spetisbury and the A350. It was constructed in 1940-41 and by 1949 was considered to be in a dangerous condition and partly demolished by the Army. The precise location and condition of the site is uncertain.

TDW/1153 (Ministry of Town and Country Planning reference). Cassini grid 44/12 SE 335228. Underground shelter considered for destruction as public danger, 1949. Partly demolished by Army. In dangerous condition. W of Spetisbury and A350 road. <1-2>
