Full Description

(ST 9208) A Roman brooch of the 2nd century was found at the Race Course. It is in the Durden Collection in the British Museum. (No.92.9.1-1576). ("Blandford Race Ground" is centred at ST 9208 on the OS 1st Edition 1" map). <1> The general area of the Race Course has now been incorporated in Blandford Camp. <2>
