Summary
A farmhouse built in the eighteenth century. It was originally a cottage with cob walls and was extended and heightened around the middle of the nineteenth century. The south side of the building was faced with brick at the same time. It is reported that a fireplace has date '1703'.

Full Description
Hayward's Farm was originally an 18th century cob walled cottage. In the mid 19th century it was extended, heightened and faced on the south with brickwork. A ground-floor fireplace, recently concealed, is said to bear the date 1703. <2>
