Summary
A banked linear feature is visible to the east of Lytchett Matravers as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs. The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of potentially post medieval origin. It is not shown on the OS historic mapping but may pre-date boundaries associated with early 20th century allotments at his location, documented on the OS 2nd Edition map. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A banked linear feature is visible to the east of Lytchett Matravers as an earthwork on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The feature is considered likely to be a historic field boundary of potentially post medieval origin.
