Summary
Two ditched linear features are visible as earthworks to the east of Lytchett Matravers on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered likely to be post medieval trackways on an area of formerly open rough ground, as indicated on the OS 1st Edition map. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
Two ditched linear features are visible as earthworks to the east of Lytchett Matravers on 1940s aerial photographs [1]. The features are considered likely to be post medieval trackways on an area of formerly open rough ground, as indicated on the OS 1st Edition map. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. The features are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
