Monument record MDO45719 - Enclosure, Gussage St Michael
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
An enclosure visible as a cropmark on air photographs. It appears to be attached to the southern end of linear feature ST 91 SE 212. The enclosure appears to have two entrance gaps. One is a simple break in the enclosure circuit, and faces east (as do the main entrances of the two banjo enclosures immediately to the north - see ST 91 SE 213). The other is a short funnel-type entrance, similar to those on banjo enclosures, and faces north, towards the adjacent banjo complex.
