Summary
A curvilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1970, to the northeast of the northern end of Holly Brake, Charlton Marshall. It has a west facing funnel entrance and is considered likely to be of Iron Age (or possibly earlier) origin. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. Fragments of a possible second enclosure or associated field boundary is situated immediately to the southwest.

Full Description
A curvilinear ditched enclosure is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs taken in 1970 <1>, to the northeast of the northern end of Holly Brake, Charlton Marshall. It has a west facing funnel entrance and is considered likely to be of Iron Age (or possibly earlier) origin. The site was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AI&M Project. Fragments of a possible second enclosure or associated field boundary is situated immediately to the southwest.
