Summary

An extensive banked field system of possible later prehistoric date is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery covering over 51 hectares on the eastern edge of Winterborne Clenston. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project, it continues to the east into Blandford St Mary and is recorded in MDO45742.

An extensive banked field system of possible later prehistoric date is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery <1-2> covering over 51 hectares on the eastern edge of Winterborne Clenston. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project, it continues to the east into Blandford St Mary and is recorded in MDO45742.
