Summary

A sinuous linear ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Thornicombe, Blandford St Mary. It is considered likely to be of prehistoric date, possibly a trackway or boundary ditch, and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project. It runs immediately to the west of the enclosure described in MDO3585.

Full Description

A sinuous linear ditch is visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the west of Thornicombe, Blandford St Mary <1-2>. It is considered likely to be of prehistoric date, possibly a trackway or boundary ditch, and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project. It runs immediately to the west of the enclosure described in MDO3585.
