Summary
Earthwork terraces, the remains of a medieval field system.
Lynchets and areas of ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs, the lynchets also visible on Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.

Full Description
A well pronounced field system consisting of two N-S lynchets averaging 1.6 m. high with small E-W lynchets. Possibly of IA/RB origin with Md. utilization. The lynchets are short and rounded. <1>
Lynchets and areas of ridge and furrow cultivation are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs [3], the lynchets also visible on Environment Agency lidar imagery [4]. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM Project.
