An irregular area of ridged cultivation to the west of Chalkpit Copse, Corfe Mullen, is visible as very faint earthworks on a 1959 aerial photograph. The features occupy the north side of a larger historic field and may be those of ridge and furrow cultivation of possibly medieval date. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
