Summary
Two hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the southeast of Tarrant, Spetisbury. They are 20-22m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The southern of the two is surrounded by a ring of spoil. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Two hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery to the southeast of Tarrant, Spetisbury <1>. They are 20-22m across and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The southern of the two is surrounded by a ring of spoil. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
