Two small hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within The Plantation to the south of The Down House, Blandford St Mary. They are 10-12m across and considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Two small hollows are visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery within The Plantation to the south of The Down House, Blandford St Mary <1>. They are 10-12m across and considered likely to be post medieval extractive pits. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
