Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the north of Oatclose Wood, Winterborne Clenston. They are marked as tree clumps on the OS 1st Edition map and are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits. The features were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
