Summary

Human bones were discovered when a small ornamental fish pond was dug in the garden. The site was investigated by Peter Woodward of the Dorset County Museum, who found a cutting containing the disarticulated skeletons of at least three adults. No clear dating evidence was found, but a medieval date seems most likely.
