Summary
An extensive system of bank and ditched field boundaries is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of West Down, Winterborne Kingston. The features are considered to be later prehistoric or Roman in date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The system covers an area of over 127 hectares and continues to the west in MDO46412.

Full Description
An extensive system of bank and ditched field boundaries is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of West Down, Winterborne Kingston <1-6>. The features are considered to be later prehistoric or Roman in date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The system covers an area of over 127 hectares and continues to the west in MDO46412.
