Summary
An extensive system of bank and ditched field boundaries is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of Bere Down, BereRegis. The features are considered to be later prehistoric or Roman in date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The system covers an area of over 78 hectares and continues to the east in MDO46411.

Full Description
An extensive system of bank and ditched field boundaries is visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery in the vicinity of Bere Down, BereRegis <1-5>. The features are considered to be later prehistoric or Roman in date and were digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM. The system covers an area of over 78 hectares and continues to the east in MDO46411, the possible site of a settlement is located at SY 842 971.
