Summary

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Muddox Barrow Farm (now Skipple's Farm), Bere Regis. It is visible as a hollow, 40m across, on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. A second smaller hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery.

Full Description

An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Muddox Barrow Farm (now Skipple's Farm), Bere Regis <1>.
