Summary
An Old Chalk Pit is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the north of Muddox Barrow Farm (now Skipple's Farm), Bere Regis. It is visible as a hollow, 40m across, on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. A second smaller hollow is visible as earthworks on lidar imagery.
