Summary

Six hollows are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, in the field to the east of Warren Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch. They range in size 14m to 42m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.

Six hollows are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, and lidar imagery, in the field to the east of Warren Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch <1-3>. They range in size 14m to 42m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits.
