Summary
A small hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, in the field to the west of West Park Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. It is across 18m across and it has since been plough-levelled. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project and is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit.

A small hollow is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947 <1>, in the field to the west of West Park Farm, Winterborne Whitechurch. It is across 18m across and it has since been plough-levelled. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project and is considered likely to be the site of a post medieval chalk pit.
