Summary

Two hollows are visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs to the south of Horse Close Plantation, Winterborne Whitechurch. The features are 16m to 18m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.

The features are 16m to 18m across and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.
