Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Bagwood Road, Bere Down. They range in size from 23m to 44m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.

Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Bagwood Road, Bere Down <1>. They range in size from 23m to 44m and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. They are considered likely to be the sites of post medieval chalk pits.
