Summary
A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow to the north of Rail Clump, Morden, is visible as a sub-circular/slightly ovoid banked earthwork on current Environment Agency Lidar imagery. The feature is one of a group of three possible Bronze Age barrows that potentially form the southwest end of a loose row of probable barrows (NRHE Hob UID 1518301, 1518306, 1518308). A further barrow group (NRHE Hob UID 1518310) is located just over 500m to the east. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description
A probable Bronze Age bowl barrow to the north of Rail Clump, Morden, is visible as a sub-circular/slightly ovoid banked earthwork on current Environment Agency Lidar imagery [1]. The feature is just over 23m by 29m and forms a low slightly elongated circular mound on the edge of the tree line. It is one of a group of three possible Bronze Age barrows that potentially form the southwest end of a loose row of probable barrows (NRHE Hob UID 1518301, 1518306, 1518308). A further barrow group (NRHE Hob UID 1518310) is located just over 500m to the east. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
