Summary
A large polygonal ditched enclosure is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Riverside Farm, Winterborne Zelston. It is over 90m across lies within the flood plain of the River Winterborne, it's southern side being the edge of the river itself. It is considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval origin, prossibly associated with drainage, and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.

A large polygonal ditched enclosure is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Riverside Farm, Winterborne Zelston <1-2>. It is over 90m across lies within the flood plain of the River Winterborne, it's southern side being the edge of the river itself. It is considered likely to be of medieval or post medieval origin, prossibly associated with drainage, and was digitally recorded during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM.
