Summary
An Old Quarry is marked on the OS 1st edition map to the south of Winterborne Kingston village. It is visible as an irregular hollow with associated spoil heap on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. The site is considered to be a post medieval chalk quarry, it is 115m across and is associated with the lime kiln described in MDO5289.
