Summary
A possible post medieval extractive pit to the southwest of Combe Farm, Sturminster Marshall, is visible as an earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The feature is shown filled with trees on historic maps and on current APGB imagery but is considered to possibly be an old chalk pit. It was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

A possible post medieval extractive pit to the southwest of Combe Farm, Sturminster Marshall, is visible as an earthwork on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1].
