Summary
A small copse is marked on the OS 1st edition map as Bushes Pit to the north east of Bushes Farm, Winterborne Zelston. A large extractive pit with associated spoil is visible under trees on lidar imagery and was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project. The pit is over 130m long and considered to be the site of a post medieval chalk quarry.

A small copse is marked on the OS 1st edition map as Bushes Pit to the north east of Bushes Farm, Winterborne Zelston <1>.
