Summary

Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Muston Field Barn, Winterborne Kingston. The larger of the two is marked as a tree clump on the OS 2nd Edition map. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.

Two hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to the south of Muston Field Barn, Winterborne Kingston <1>. The larger of the two is marked as a tree clump on the OS 2nd Edition map <2>. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
