Five hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery in two fields to the west of Winterborne Lane, Winterborne Zelston. The largest is marked as unanotated hollows on the OS 2nd Edition map. The features are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
