A wide scatter of small hollows are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery to fields to the south east of Great Coll Wood, Sturminster Marshall <1>. They are considered likely to be post medieval chalk pits and were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour Catchment AI&M Project.
