Summary

Banked linear features on the south side of the River Winterbone, Morden, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries, possibly of post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Full Description

Banked linear features on the south side of the River Winterbone, Morden, are visible as earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs [1, 2]. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries, possibly of post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project. They are no longer visible on 2021 APGB imagery.
