Summary
Banked linear features within fields to the east of Winterborne Zelston, are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.

Banked linear features within fields to the east of Winterborne Zelston, are visible as cropmarks and earthworks on 1940s aerial photographs and on current Environment Agency lidar imagery [1, 2]. The features are considered likely to be historic field boundaries of probable post medieval date, although an earlier origin is also possible. They were digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
