An irregular hollow in a field to the northeast of West Morden, Morden, is visible as an earthwork on current Environment Agency Lidar imagery. The feature is considered likely to be a post medieval extractive pit, probably a chalk pit. The feature was digitally plotted during the Dorset Middle Stour AIM project.
